From Rust to Repairs,

My Story

Where it all started.

My passion for bodywork started when I was about seven years old. I still remember helping my dad repair a rusty wing on a Marina. My job was to wear my swimming goggles and hold tin foil inside the wing — I was the only one small enough to fit in the wheel arch back then! I don't think Mom was to pleased. That moment sparked a lifelong obsession with cars and everything motor vehicle related.

From the age of 15, I spent every weekend working alongside my dad, learning the craft and building the foundations of the career I have today. Those early years taught me not only the skills of vehicle repair, but also the value of patience, pride, and doing a job properly.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with some well-known manufacturers. One that stands out most to me is Porsche. Their exceptional attention to detail and commitment to customer service left a lasting impression, and it’s a standard I carry through to my own business today.

Now, as the owner of Absolute Vehicle Paint Repairs, I bring together decades of hands-on experience with a genuine passion for making cars look their best. For me, it’s never just about repairing a panel — it’s about restoring pride in a vehicle and delivering the kind of service I’d expect myself.

What makes it even more special is that I now have my own boys, and they’re already following in my footsteps — starting even earlier than I did. Just like I once worked alongside my dad, they’re beginning to learn the same skills, and it’s something I’m incredibly proud of.

This is more than just my career; it’s something I’ve lived and breathed since I was a child. Every job I take on is a reflection of the passion that first began in a rusty wheel arch all those years ago — and now it’s a passion I get to pass on to the next generation.
